Full Body Restoration
The Process
Old body shells are stripped to the bare metal before being shot-blasted. This ensures that the body is corrosion free, not just for now, but for years to come.
Painstaking care is taken to remove and replace any necessary metal work that may impede the integrity of the vehicle, technicians work to very close tolerances to ensure the perfect fit of all panels.
The body and chassis is then coated in a rust preventative primer. further repairs are carried out to reinstate the contours and shape of any damaged panels and is quality checked before moving onto paint preparation.
Our skilled paint experts prime and flat any imperfections.
The car is then masked before paint and lacquer is applied.
The paint work is quality checked again to insure it meets our exacting standards. The body is then reassembled and all fitments are checked for quality.
Once everything is to Heterodox’s standard the car is hand flatted, polished and valeted before handover.
